How do I download DS game free using R4?
first of all, go to any of these sites:-
www.romulation.net < -- good site
www.gmforum.org < -- ah! forums but still its good
www.dashroms.com
www.moddz.com < -- this site you cant download games but u can download homebrews like BeUp Live (MSN) etc..
when you download a file, it will be in .zip or .rar, extract it using WinRAR or WinZip (just right click file and press extract here), then some files will be extracted, one will be .nds and others like .info (depends from which site you download but you will atleast get the .nds file), now on your R4 there is a MicroSD Card, right??, well pull it out, and insert it into a SD cardreader (you should be having it, you get it along with the purchase of R4) ok now, plug-in the SD cardreader (with memory card inserted) to your CPU's USB Port, then at My Computer you will see a Removable Drive (J), (I) etc.. depends on how many partitions you have in your computer, ok so now right-click the nds file (wherever u extracted it) click copy, then go to My Computer, Removable Drive and paste it there, then just Safely remove the SD cardreader AFTER THE GAME HAS BEEN FULLY COPIED, and then re-insert your MicoSD Card to your R4, then R4 to slot-1 of your DS Lite or just DS and enjoy! xD
ok listen to thiss, very important, if any of your game doesnt save, or says save file is corrupted … then you need to update your R4, to update it, you can go to this site:-

and download a file named kernel < -- right-now latest for your R4 would be v1.14 (more will come later)
now how to update it:-
After downloading and decompressing the new updated files, there will be one moonshl folder and two files _DS_MENU.DAT, _DS_MSHL.NDS.Copy these files to the root directory of your R4 card to replace the old files, (same process like copying nds file to removable drive)
